Antonia is a dressmaker with a lifelong passion for creating beautifully crafted garments. She began sewing her own clothing as a teenager, developing an early appreciation for fine detail, thoughtful design, and the confidence that comes from wearing something made just for you.
 

With a foundation in visual design, Antonia completed a Bachelor of Visual Communication and worked professionally as a graphic designer before dedicating herself fully to couture sewing and garment construction. Her first label, Cool Magool, showcased her ability to blend creativity with meticulous craftsmanship.
 

During several years in Germany, Antonia refined her technical skills through volunteer roles and private training with a fashion designer, gaining experience in precision sewing and bespoke garment creation. After returning to Sydney in 2018, she completed a Diploma in Fashion Design and Garment Construction, mastering the full couture process — from initial sketch and pattern drafting to refined tailoring and flawless finishing.

Antonia established Tailormade by Toni in 2019 and has recently changed the name of the business to Antonia May Couture. Today, she specialises in custom garments with a focus on bridal and evening wear, offering clients a personalised, detail‑driven experience. Her work includes couture gowns, tailored jackets, and elegant special‑occasion pieces, each crafted with exceptional care and an understanding of how to achieve the perfect fit for every body.
